JUNE 1-2:

Tybee Floatilla “Will Float for Friends”, 9:30 a.m. Begins at Alley III and Chatham Ave. and ends at the Crab Shack (with a short break on the “Criminal Island” Sandbar)! Tickets, $34.95. Only 250 participants will be allowed, so be sure to purchase your tickets today! Proceeds from The Tybee Floatilla “Will Float for Friends” will benefit the Coastal Pet Rescue, Tybee Beautification Association, and Marine Science Center.

JUNE 3:
Deen Family Book Signing! Join Paula, Bobby and Jamie for a book signing at Uncle Bubba’s Oyster House, 104 Bryan Wood Rd., 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Trolley service available in Johnson Square from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Only 350 tickets will be given out starting 1 hour before the book signing. JUNE 8:
16th Annual Tybee Island Tour of Homes, featuring a variety of historic and contemporary architectural styles. 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Guests are welcome to begin the tour at the home of their choice and will receive a map along with a list of homes printed on the back of the ticket. Proceeds will benefit The Rising Tyde Food Bank and the Tybee Island Maritime Academy charter school. Rain or shine. JUNE 15:
The Savannah Derby Devils will return to the Savannah Civic Center arena this year with exciting, family-friendly fun. 5 p.m. Hostess City Hellions vs. Atlanta Rollergirls. 7 p.m. SDD All-Stars vs. Atlanta Rollergirls. Summer Camps at Oatland Island Wildlife Center, 711 Sandtown Rd., 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. $135 per week with exceptions. Oatland Island Summer Camps are week-long day camps available to rising kindergarteners through rising eighth graders. First Annual Savannah Children’s Museum’s Splash Festival! Have a splashing good time in the Savannah heat with all sorts of water-based programs and activities! JUNE 22:
18th Annual Savannah Asian Festival! Savannah Civic Center MLK Arena, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Savannah Asian Festival brings an entire continent of unique cultures, cuisines, performances and fun to the Savannah Civic Center. The City of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Asian-American volunteers work together to present this one-day celebration of Asian countries and cultures. (912) 525-3100 x 2845 or

JUNE 23:

JUNE 26-29:
The YMCA of Coastal Georgia hosts the 2013 YMCA Gymnastics National Championship & Festival. 3 day competition, and an Olympic style Opening Ceremony. The competition will take place at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center. Opening Ceremonies will be held at Forsyth Park and will consist of dinner, carnival games, fireworks, and additional activities to be enjoyed by the gymnasts and their families. JUNE 30:
The Savannah Winds of Armstrong Atlantic State University’s Department of Art, Music & Theatre (Armstrong AMT) celebrating 
America, the Beautiful, 3 p.m. Patrons may purchase tickets online at tickets.armstrong.edu or by visiting Armstrong Fine Arts Hall during normal weekday business hours. Tickets are $12-20, while senior citizens, military personnel, and children/students may purchase tickets for $10-17. Pricing ranges by seat location within the Auditorium. (912) 344-2556.
