Savannah Restaurant WeekIt’s one of the most highly anticipated events of the year in Savannah. Make your way to Georgia for Savannah Restaurant Week next month! You don’t want to miss this 10-day celebration of Savannah’s restaurant scene.

From January 24 through February 2, 2014, Savannah Restaurant Week will pay homage to the culinary heritage that makes the city unique. You can dine at restaurants and pay tribute to those that have become such a vital part of Savannah’s hospitality.

Each participating upscale restaurant will offer a delicious three-course, prix fixe dinner menu for just $30 per person. However, that does not include tax and gratuity.

Here’s a list of participating restaurants.

  • Belford’s
  • 17 Hundred 90 Inn and Restaurant
  • Named for the year it was constructed, 17 Hundred 90 Inn and Restaurant has been in service for more than 100 years. It captures the authentic flavor of an eighteenth century river port hotel and restaurant, while striving to provide wonderful new memories for those who visit.
  • Blue Turtle Bistro & Bar
  • Rocks on the River
  • 45 Bistro
  • Built in 1852, this privately-owned, independent restaurant provides first-class food with an extensive beverage and wine list. It’s topped off with fantastic service.
  • Boar’s Head Grill and Tavern
  • Ruth’s Chris Steak House
  • 700 Drayton
  • Eclectic specialties are combined with an extensive wine list and the wondrous Grand Bohemian Gallery at 700 Drayton. There’s something special offered during each meal of the day.
  • Brasserie 529
  • Shrimp Factory
  • a.Lure
  • This restaurant in the historic district takes a contemporary approach to classic southern recipes. The building is also steeped in history.
  • Chart House
  • The Melting Pot
  • Alligator Soul
  • Consistently recommended among the upscale restaurants in Savannah, Alligator Soul is known for it’s fresh, local, regional and organic fare.
  • Corleone’s
  • The Old Pink House
  • Aqua Star
  • Aqua Star inspires romance with its views of Savannah’s skyline glistening on the river. It has been voted “Best View of Savannah.”
  • Driftaway Cafe
  • Tondee’s Tavern
  • B Matthew’s
  • This is a casual bistro with a full bar in Savannah’s oldest tavern. B Matthew’s is located in the city’s historic district.
  • Garibaldi
  • Tubby’s Tank House
  • B Tillman
  • At Byrd Cookie Company, B Tillman offers southern inspired dishes with modern presentation. There’s also a hint of French influences.
  • Leoci’s Trattoria
  • River House Seafood
  • Vic’s on the River Restaurant & Bar

With all of these choices, it’s still best to make reservations in advance. Participating restaurants won’t guarantee walk-in seating during Savannah Restaurant Week. They will accommodate non-reserved guests whenever possible, on a first come, first serve basis.
