Our Favorite Breweries in Savannah, GA

Southbound Brewing Company: Southbound is the first production microbrewery in Savannah and launched its first flavor in May of 2013. Their year-round brews include the Scattered Sun Belgian Wit, which features a combination of coriander and citrus peel for a pleasant, tart aroma and orange flavor that’s perfect for summer. Or, you can take a sip of their seasonal stout, Moonlight Drive, that has notes of chocolate, caramel, and coffee for those chillier days. Yum!

Moon River Brewing Company: This unique brewpub has been in business since 1999 and is situated inside one of the most historic and haunted buildings in Savannah. What was once the City Hotel in 1821 now serves as a restaurant and brewery where guests can enjoy delicious fare and even better drinks. Indulge in a scrumptious burger, sandwich, or salad, then wash it all down with one of their signature craft beers like the Yoga Pants American Golden Ale or the Wild Wacky Belgian-Style Wit.

Service Brewing Co.: Dedicated to honoring those who have fought for our country, this veteran-owned and operated craft brewery donates a portion of their revenue to assist charities that support service. Feel free to take a tour of the brewery, then sit back and sample your favorite flavors in their tasting room. Service brews year-round beers on a large scale, and also maintains a small batch that uses locally available ingredients to connect farmers and consumers through beer – and it’s all for a great cause!

River Dog Brewing Company: Just a short 30-minute drive from Savannah, this brewery offers exceptional scratch-made beer in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. They brew everything from stouts and IPA’s to ales and porters, so you’re guaranteed to find a pint that suits your taste buds. Guests are welcome to take a 45-minute tour where they’ll learn all about beer and the brewing process, River Dog history, and fascinating brewery stories. You can even bring your dog along!
